Deacon Fadi Rafidi
Deacon Fadi came to the United States in 1984, and became a parishioner at St. John in 1985. He received his high school diploma in Chicago, and spent a year and a half at the Lincoln Trade School. A few years later in 1993, he married Mary Kay and they had five children together; Fuad, Nada, Sally, Mariam, and Fadi.
Deacon Fadi returned to studying in 2003, but this time, he he studied theology. In September of 2007, he became officially ordained as a deacon.
Deacon Fadi continues to serve the parish of St. John alongside his children, who have been altar servers for many years.
